my purple angel:)

All about Purple

          Before, I am not that interested of this color. For me it means sadness and mourns but suddenly, because of one person, a friend, who I call her “purple angel” it made me feel fascinated to search of it.

          J.L. Morton (1995) stated that today, science has revealed much more about purple than our ancestors ever realized: Purple is the most powerful visible wavelength of electromagnetic energy.  It’s just a few steps away from x-rays and gamma rays. Perhaps this explains why purple is associated with supernatural energy and the cosmos than with the physical world as we know it.

        In additional, Purple Heart is the American award for bravery and purple is the hardest color for the eye to discriminate.

        There is an article said that purple/ violet is a combination of blue and red. Red is a focusing, dynamic and active energy while blue is cooling, calming and expansive. Violet/purple brings a new dynamic to the expansion of blue and the activity of red. Red brings practicality to the undirected expansiveness of the blue, and allows more creative energy to emerge. For this reason, violet is associated with imagination and inspiration.

a.    They are sensitive and compassionate, understanding and supportive, thinking of others before their selves. 

b.   They are a gentle and free spirit

d.   They are creative and like to be individual in most of their endeavors, including their dress and home decoration

5. They inspire others with their creative thinking and their ability to deal positively with adversity.
6. They seek spiritual fulfillment.
7. They are generous giver, asking for little in return except friendship.

h.   They like to have the best of everything, so they aim high.

But,

a.    They are idealistic, and often impractical, with a great imagination, dreaming of a future in an ideal fantasy world where they exclude the ugly side of reality

2. They can be secretive, with even your closest friends

          Furthermore, the article said that their deepest need is for emotional security and to create order and perfection in all areas of their life, including their spiritual life. They also have a deep need to initiate and participate in humanitarian projects, helping others in need.

          Even though, there are many description of the person who likes purple color, all I know is this is what she likes, this is my friend favorite color- Purple.
