ALS Mobile Teacher: a missionary work

It's been a while when I haven't opened this site of mine. There are a lot of things happened and changes in my environment. I am not just focused in my course only but I am still on development practitioners with the use of media through educating people.
I am now in Alternative Learning System, the Non-formal education of the Philippines which is the other side of formal school which the life blood of education for all.

We immerged our selves in the community and conduct Mapping but ofcourse, we always have courtesy call first of our politicians as they will help us in the success

There will be or no supports the program will still be in action as we are in the department of Education. ALS work is unlike in the formal school.Its like a mission that you are not afraid to use your own money, give your own time and effort for your learners.

Every time i will go to my areas I will prepare my backpacks that is loaded with module, envelop, pencil, pen,paper, IMs, laptop, emergency kit and other. I will carry it toto my classroom or Community Learning Centers

Speaking of Community Learning Centers unlike in formal school we must be prepared of wherever we will be because we don't have own one.We are just letting in and used it for our discussion. II will not complain but again I promise to myself if ever there will be CLC I will make some Structuring using my own pocket even because ALS has no own budget.

These two areas are my farthest areas, at Mapantao 21km and @ Potaon with 25 kilometers. Mostly of them are our brother and sisters Muslims. And mostly enrolled in Basic LiteracyLiteracy Program more on reading.

I know I will faceface more challenges along the way but thanks God. I know He will not forsake me .

Supports from our stakeholders are highly appreciated. I know I cannot make it in my own.

My new life Style

It’s been a while that I don’t scan my blog and it I feel so isolated with my passion- a passion of being a catalyst of change through writing.

Although before I am not that fun writing any articles and I just love to post photos, still it made me feel missing in my heart. This social media site is not that open and just few friends know about this.

A lot of things changes happened on me since my last post. There were a lot of love story began and vanish and now still on the process of making a new story. I am not perfect but just in love. I got hurt and I really felt the pain but it’s normal if we truly invest our trust and love.

I changed my style of loving someone. Before, I was in the side of being a martyr and now I am on the other side. Positive, It is because I know their part and I understand their situation..... (to be continued)

my purple angel:)

All about Purple

Before, I am not that interested of this color. For me it means sadness and mourns but suddenly, because of one person, a friend, who I call her “purple angel” it made me feel fascinated to search of it.

J.L. Morton (1995) stated that today, science has revealed much more about purple than our ancestors ever realized: Purple is the most powerful visible wavelength of electromagnetic energy. It’s just a few steps away from x-rays and gamma rays. Perhaps this explains why purple is associated with supernatural energy and the cosmos than with the physical world as we know it.

In additional, Purple Heart is the American award for bravery and purple is the hardest color for the eye to discriminate.

There is an article said that purple/ violet is a combination of blue and red. Red is a focusing, dynamic and active energy while blue is cooling, calming and expansive. Violet/purple brings a new dynamic to the expansion of blue and the activity of red. Red brings practicality to the undirected expansiveness of the blue, and allows more creative energy to emerge. For this reason, violet is associated with imagination and inspiration.

a. They are sensitive and compassionate, understanding and supportive, thinking of others before their selves.

b. They are a gentle and free spirit

c. They have a peaceful and tranquil quality and a quiet dignity.

d. They are creative and like to be individual in most of their endeavors, including their dress and home decoration

They inspire others with their creative thinking and their ability to deal positively with adversity.
They seek spiritual fulfillment.
They are generous giver, asking for little in return except friendship.

h. They like to have the best of everything, so they aim high.

But,

a. They are idealistic, and often impractical, with a great imagination, dreaming of a future in an ideal fantasy world where they exclude the ugly side of reality

They can be secretive, with even your closest friends

Furthermore, the article said that their deepest need is for emotional security and to create order and perfection in all areas of their life, including their spiritual life. They also have a deep need to initiate and participate in humanitarian projects, helping others in need.

Even though, there are many description of the person who likes purple color, all I know is this is what she likes, this is my friend favorite color- Purple.
